Weekly photo challenge : Inside

Inside Matilda

For almost 2 years Jack and I have called this space home. We have travelled around Australia from March 2010 to March 2011.

After a couple of months at home, a small granny flat on the Goldcoast, we then went north to Cairns for the 6 months of winter.

Back to the flat for Christmas 2011, then it was over to New Zealand for 2 months.

Another 2 months at home and now we are on our way to Darwin for the winter months, approx another 6 months before we get home again Then where to????

This is our lovely little Toyota Hi-ace, Matilda, very compact and could be called cosy living. It teaches you tolerance and patience living in such a small space but it is so easy to get around and we have the setting up at each stop down to a fine art and can be re-packed and on the move in approx 20 minutes.

  1. I so would love to travel to Australia but my fear of big bugs is stopping me. I’d die if I came face to face with one of your gargantuan spiders. Die.

  2. Matilda looks like a lovely little home from home. And I love your hubby’s brigt yellow socks 🙂

    • Jack loves bright colours, just wait till we get up to Darwin and you will see him in his happy pants…

  3. my dream to do so – but will never become reality …

  4. Hats off to you both. Now that’s what I’d call living.

I would love to get to know you, please leave a comment
