Tree Tuesday

The golden light of sunrise

The golden light of sunrise

A moment in time recorded as the sun rises and turns the Western Australia outback to molten gold.

Two trees stretch to the heavens praying for life,

as the prickly spinifex grass squats like small animals wakening to a new day…

Yes quite a lot really; a large gum tree, several cypress, arauca, a palm, a mimosa, jacarandas, olives, pomegranate, lemons, oranges, apples, pitanga, mango, avocado, a Norfolk Island Hibiscus, oleander, I have probably missed a few..(also a massive cactus.and some large yuccas) Off to buy a papaya today. Of all the trees only the olives were already there when the house was built 10 years ago. I must get around to putting some pics on fb soon.
