New Zealand’s South Island is a land of mountains, mist and fantastic scenery. When driving through this landscape the atmosphere is definitely eerie and is a perfect place to showcase for this weeks EERIE photo challenge.

Those cows are eerie indeed… look like they are out of a sci fi movie…

  2. Beautiful and I love the wooly cows!! Nice snap of Paula Jack!

    • G’day Cindy, I must admit I was a little bit concerned on that road seemingly to nowhere. We did eventually turn round and come back to the highway. The joys of travel…

  3. Beautiful shots.
Something mysterious about those woods…..especially in the fog.
And I have never before seen a “wooly cow.”

  4. Certainly, it is eerie, I imagine when we pass those shrubs and stuck on the cows then the cows began to insert its roots into the skin, the body and bones!….. Brilliant.

  5. Those cows have truly eerie eyes…..or was it the ‘eerie’ setting on your camera!! 🙂

    • Ah Sue you have hit the nail or should I say the camera settings on the head…Looks eerie though doesn’t it?

  6. What a marvellous misty environment, it must have been eerie!

  7. A splendid collection of eerie photos.
