Lingering Look at Windows : Napier

I fell in love with Napier, the delightful Art Deco capital of New Zealand. Go here to see my post on Napier

Today I am going to highlight more of the Art Deco windows from this city.

Dawn from “The day after” challenges us to look for windows and post them here each week. Maybe you have some you can show us.

Visit here to look through more windows from around the world.

  1. It’s a stunning city, I would love to visit some day. Until then I can only admire your posts! 🙂

  2. Thanks for the tour! Lovely Art Deco

  3. Oh very nice PP. Definitely worth risking the earthquakes to grab a few shots of this town. It does look very similar to South Beach, Miami. I must post some windows from there if I have any. Art Deco colours remind me of Neapolitan ice-cream – vanilla, strawberry and chocolate.
    Have a great weekend 🙂

  4. I am not a fan of Art Deco. Art Nouveau yes, but not Art Deco….. but I do like the windows. Anywhere you go in NZ, you run the risk of an earthquake. (Christchurch proved that)

  5. I love Art Deco, Pomme. Seems to be one of those ‘love it or hate it’ things, doesn’t it?
Will check out your Napier post next 🙂

  6. I love these. I think my favorite is the one that spells Masonic.

I would love to get to know you, please leave a comment
