These doors were in the very attractive township of Akaroa in the South Island of New Zealand.

This is where I saw the “The Giants House” A house and garden full of wonder. The garden overflowing with flowers, vegetables, quirky sculptures and fantastic mosaic art. All created by one very energetic woman.

If you have time, take a cyber trip via this link to be amazed.

  1. Alas, no time for a cyber trip this morning, as I’m off to my part time job after this response. But I enjoyed seeing some red doors on attractive houses with, of course, gardens. 🙂

  2. That is lovely – great find!

  3. Very handsome doors Pauline, I like the first one with the Japanese anemones in front.

  4. I love the doors, Pauline. I checked out the cyber tour link and love the giant’s house – particularly the pic of Jack playing that piano! I’ve got a whole lot of ‘bits’ of tiles leftover after tiling the bathroom so now I’m inspired to create a mosaic with them 😀

I would love to get to know you, please leave a comment
