Her face shows the jubilant feeling of winning.

Camel racing is a tradition in the small outback town of Winton. It was an amazing experience and I was there in 2012 to join the crowds and cheer these ships of the desert on. Would you like to see more? Click here to come back with me to dusty outback Australia…

  1. You haven’t missed a single experience have you? You just eat them up, and then, to mix metaphors dreadfully, serve them up to us at a moment’s notice. A wonderful manifestation of jubilance.

  2. WOW!! Who knew?

  3. Perfect shots, you’ve really captured the excitement and joy.

  4. Really jubilation explored!

  6. Cool choice for this challenge. 🙂

  7. I’ve visited the camel races at Winton too, 2010 I think. It was a whole day of jubilation, esp taking part in 3 legged race and hay bale rolling. Great shot of the camels

  8. What a brave lady, nothing would possess me to go at more than a sedate pace on a camel!

    • I did ride a camel in India that liked to run fast, but I had an Indian camel boy on it with me.

  9. Great action shots, Pauline. She really does look jubilant! 😀
